Our nominated freight carrier's are Star Track Express, Fast Track express and for smaller deliveries we utilise Australia Post. Freight via courier is subject to cubic conversion: The price for freight will be calculated on the dead weight or by cubic meter – whichever is the greater. Shipping via Australia Post is calculated on a total weight basis at the standard Australia Post fee to your post code region. Before you finalise your order you will be directed to the Aust post parcel postage calculator. The delivery cost of your parcel will be calculated according to the total overall weight (allowances must be made for unusual shape items) and destination postcode. Australia Post assesses charges for parcels according to their actual or cubic weight equivalent, which ever is greater. Note: Weights are rounded up to the nearest kilogram in all calculations. Some items are too large to be delivered via Australia Post in this case the details for the product have been adjusted to reflect charges for delivery via courier. Any charges shown are a guide only, and are subject to change, Bubishi will contact you with a revised quote for delivery if required.

The team at Bubishi strives to make your ordering and shipping experience fast and effective. Internet orders placed before 12noon will be shipped out the same day* (conditions apply).
*Same day shipping is based on your order having no processing issues with stock availability, production, shipping or payment. Same day shipping is Weekdays only on internet orders placed before 12noon. Excludes public holidays, and warehouse shut down over Christmas.
Delivery address details
ALL parcels delivered via courier are marked Leave as Instructed (LAI) if address unattended. This avoids you ( the customer) being charged for a second delivery of the item. We strongly recommend that you supply a business address as the delivery instructions to ensure a signatory can be obtained. If you have opted for (LAI) for your delivery – Bubishi and/or nominated courier does not accept any responsibility for any theft, damage or loss on any item.
All products are unconditionally guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship only for manufacturers time period or 7 days from date of purchase. Warranty DOES NOT cover abuse, misuse, neglect, improper care, loss or damage from incorrect servicing. Use of bladed weapons for purposes other than cutting is considered as misuse. Bubishi will replace such products and other than this will have no obligation. With the foregoing exception Bubishi makes no express warranties. Martial Arts weapons are for training only under expert supervision, for demonstration of forms, for collection, or display.
Weapons training requires appropriate safety gear, including head, face, eye, and mouth protection and other guards suitable for the particular weapon and techniques being practiced and a safe training environment set up to avoid injury to people and objects.
To decrease the chances of injury, weapons users should: respect the weapon/s, inspect them before each use to ensure they are in proper condition, and not use them for sparring or contact. It is recommended that instructors limit children and beginners to the use of foam rubber or foam covered practice weapons and / or wooden blades.
Some weapons may be illegal in the users area; the user must research and follow state and local laws. Bubishi and/or the manufacturer are not responsible for improper or illegal use or modification of weaponry. It is the purchaser responsibility to check their state regulations BEFORE ordering items from the weapons section. Victoria, especially, has a long list of prohibited weapons. We also accept payment via posting us a personal cheque, bank cheque or money order. Personal cheques will delay your order as we must wait for your funds to clear before we ship any merchandise. Please allow an additional 7 – 10 days business days for shipping of your merchandise if paid by personal cheque. To order by cheque just print the order form with your shopping cart contents from the order confirmation page and complete the necessary fields, then mail the form to the address above.
Second Delivery Charges
If goods are not signed for and instructions are to leave somewhere on premises, any theft or damage will not be covered by insurance. In order to sign for the goods customer must 100% guarantee that someone will be available between 9AM and 5PM Monday to Friday to sign for goods. If the nominated courier attempt to deliver knowing these opening hours and no one is there to sign for goods, a card will be left and SECOND DELIVERY CHARGES will automatically be charged to your Credit Card. It is Customer’s responsibility to notify of any changes to their special delivery instructions or their change of address. Failure to do so will result in customer being liable for all the redirection or second delivery charges that will occur.
Signing and Receiving goods.
Unless specified as ‘leave as instructed’ (LAI) - all customers must sign for goods and even more so be aware of the cartons/s conditions and quantity you are signing for. In most cases all items are delivered as one delivery – however if the courier company does deliver a part shipment - please acknowledge this ‘part shipment when signing for goods.
Goods damaged in Transit
The freight company requires the driver’s signature on the consignment confirming the damage. If upon delivery you do not acquire the driver’s signature of damage through transit your insurance claim will be void. Our insurance company requires any items damaged in transit must be reported to SMAI within 24 hours of receiving the goods. Failure to do so – No claim can be processed.
RETURN REFUND POLICY
Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. If goods need to be returned, please call us to indicate what problem you may have and we will issue a return authorisation number. All returns (credit or Warranty) must be accompanied by the return authorisation code and invoice number on which the goods were supplied and date of purchase. The return authorisation code should be clearly visible on the outside of the package. A return authorisation number is valid for 14 DAYS only.
Goods returned for credit must be unused in original unmarked packaging and be returned pre paid freight. If merchandise is defective or damaged upon receipt please contact us immediately after your package arrives for a return authorisation claim number. All claims for missing or incorrectly supplied goods MUST be made within 3 days of receipt of order. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Returned products must be in absolutely new and unused condition for refund.
Faulty product returns are not accepted without prior authorisation and must be within 7 days of receipt of goods. All returns must be in as new condition. Warranty claims will be repaired, replaced or credited at our discretion. Misused or improperly cared for products cannot be accepted. COMPLAINTS
Claims for missing or incorrectly supplied goods are to be lodged with us within 3 days of your receipt of goods.
The ownership of the goods hereby sold shall remain with Bubishi Martial Arts until such time as the Purchaser has paid all sums owing.
