Thankyou for visiting the Bubishi Martial Arts Warehouse online store.  The products and services offered by Bubishi Martial Arts Warehouse are subject to the following Terms and Conditions.  We recommend that you read the information below thoroughly before you continue.  Bubishi Martial Arts Warehouse reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without giving prior notice.


 – In these terms and conditions ‘BMAW’, ‘We’, ‘Our’ or ‘Us’ means Bubishi Martial Arts Warehouse and its registered business name (Bubishi Institute – Shukokai Karate).  The words ‘You’ or ‘Your’ means the person who accepts the Terms and Conditions.

–  By accessing, contacting, purchasing through, registering or otherwise utilising the website of BMAW (www.bubishi.com.au) and/or its products and/or services; you are signifying your agreement to all the policies, procedures, rules, regulations, terms and conditions of this website, and thereby constituting a contract between (you) the customer and BMAW.

– By accepting the Terms & Conditions, you acknowledge that you are over the age of 18 years.

Site Use

BMAW grants you a limited non-transferable, non-revocable license to access and use this site by displaying it on your browser temporarily.  This is given on the basis that you will not ( unless permitted by us in writing):

  • download or modify the content
  • falsely represent any of the products or services we offer on this site or instore.  This includes attaching a product description, image of the products that BMAW supply or content relating to the products supplied by BMAW to misrepresent products and/or services that are not supplied by BMAW.
  • Make any commercial use of the information provided.
  • You may not distribute, sell, reproduce, lease, create derivative works from, modify, reverse engineer, disassemble, transmit, display or otherwise exploit this site or any content within it ( unless expressly permitted by us in writing).  You may not distribute, upload to or otherwise publish through this site any information, content or other materials that:
    •  Breaches or infringes the patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets or other proprietary rights of any person or entity.
    • Contains harmful codes or properties such as viruses, trap doors, worms, Trojan horses or bugs
    • Is defamatory, obscene, indecent, offensive, threatening, damaging, slanderous (including racial) or could potentially lead to legal action.
BMAW reserves the right to cancel accounts, refuse service, cancel orders, and/or take legal action if we deem that a customer/customer’s violate laws or conduct breaches to any of the above mentioned terms. BMAW do/will make every effort to ensure the safety/integrity/security of any content from any parties associated with this site.  However we do not warrant this site or it’s server’s/hosting or that communications sent from BMAW are free of errors, viruses or harmful content.  BMAW does not take any responsibility for any damage that may occur in connection with your use of this website.


The features, specifications, details, availability of any product listed on this website are subject to change without notice.  All weights, dimensions, colours are approximate.  Colour appearance may vary due to individual computer monitor settings.

Pricing on this website is subject to change without notice.  All prices shown on this website are inclusive of 10% gst.  All price shown are exclusive of delivery charges. If it occurs that a product on this website is priced incorrectly you will be contacted before shipping to notify you and ascertain if you want to proceed with the order at the correct price or cancel the order.  if you choose to cancel the order a refund will immediately be issued for the full amount that you have paid via the payment method that you have used.


By placing an order with BMAW via our website or other means, you are agreeing to enter a purchase contract to purchase the product from BMAW.

  • Your order will be deemed to be ‘received’ by BMAW once you have received an order confirmation via email.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct information (including delivery details) is supplied when completing your order.
  • BMAW will not held responsible/liable for any disruptions due to internet failure or technical issues that may cause disruptions or delays.
  • BMAW reserves the right to decline your order or enter a purchase contract with you and may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch.
  • If you need to cancel an order, you will need to contact us prior to your order being dispatched and a full refund will be issued via your original method of payment.  Orders cannot be cancelled if the shipment has already been dispatched.  for orders that have already been dispatched you will need to follow the ‘Returns policy’.
  • BMAW will not be held responsible/liable for any incorrect delivery information.  Re delivery fee’s will apply if you have provided incorrect delivery information.


Payment for your order will be processed immediately upon confirmation of your order.  The  payment methods offered on this site include Visa or Mastercard via paypal or phone call, direct bank deposit.

Your order cannot/will not be processed if your payment triggers the fraud prevention system.  You will be contacted to arrange alternative payment methods.  BMAW will not held responsible/liable for any errors made by the customer or BMAW’s banking institution or payment system.


BMAW does not accept any liability for loss or damage caused by delays outside of our control;  including but not limited to shipping delays, weather events, traffic, accidents, busy periods and any other unforeseeable/unpredictable events or circumstances.

BMAW delivers to addresses within Australia only.  Products that fall within the size/weight/dimensions limitations of Australia Post can be delivered to PO box addresses and Parcel Lockers all other orders/products will be delivered to a street address via courier services.

The shipping charges displayed on this website DO NOT include change of address, remote delivery, hand off load, re delivery, crane delivery, and/or failure to collect your order from your nearest depot within 48 hours.

Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse/location, shipping charges are non refundable as the service/expense has been incurred.


Change of mind returns must comply with our ‘Returns Policy’ (see below for details)

It is your responsibility to ensure that the returned product is received at our nominated return address safely.  BMAW will not be held responsible/liable for any loss or damage that may occur during transit or before it is received at our location.

Refunds will be processed  within 3 – 10 days.  BMAW will not be held responsible for any delays that our out of our control including but not limited to bank provider policies.


All products are covered by a 3 month Manufacturers Warranty (commencing from the date of purchase invoice), unless otherwise stated in your warranty policy.  (See below for further details).  The Manufacturer’s Warranty covers the structural integrity of the product (excluding clearance items).  If your product proves to be faulty or damaged,  BMAW will repair/replace/refund the item except where the product has

  • not been used for it’s intended purpose.
  • Incorrect installation/assembly
  • improper storage, poor maintenance, misuse.
  • costmetic damages and/or normal wear and tear.
  • No proof of purchase or outside warranty period.

The products we supply come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.  You are entitled to a replacement/refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonable foreseeable loss or damge.  You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

It is your responsibility to ensure correct installation, maintenance and use  and also to inform other users of proper usage and handling of equipment.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers that have been issued by BMAW are usable on this site.  We accept no responsibility/liability for any loss, theft or illegibility of vouchers.  Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash and are not refundable.


Every effort is made to ensure that we provide correct, timely and accurate information on this website and all other areas of our operations.   BMAW makes no representations or warranties of any kind in relation to the operation of this site,  the products displayed including the related descriptions; material content and information on this site.  To the full extent permissible by the relevant applicable laws, we disclaim all warranties ( whether expressed or implied.)

By accepting these terms and conditions you are indicating that you agree to ensure all information, products and services available on this site meet your requirements.  BMAW will not be held liable for any damages of any kind arising from the misuse of this site or its products.  This includes direct/indirect/incidental/punitive & consequential damages/mistakes/ inaccuracies/errors on this site.

When participating in any physical training/activity or utilising any of the products available on this site,  you risk the possibility of serious injury, disability or death. by engaging in physical activity you are accepting/agreeing that you do so at your own risk, of your on will and assuming all risk of injury to yourself.  Consult your physician before beginning any exercise program and know your limitations.

Minors utilising the products on this site should have constant, qualified, adult supervision.

Regularly inspect your equipment and repair/maintain or replace as required.  Do not use old, modified, damaged or improperly fitted equipment as the condition or effectiveness of the product may diminish with time and use.

Protective products are recommended for non-contact or light use only, unless otherwise stated on the product.  Sparring products are only intended to reduce the risk and severity from accidental injury to protected areas during supervised, non-contact or light-contact sparring.  Boxing gloves are recommended to aid in impact protection and only intended for light-contact on soft training targets such as padded shields, hanging bags, speed bags, etc.  Light-contact is defined as a force that will not cause pain, injury, penetration, or visible movement of the opponent/target. 


All content and material on this site is the property of BMAW and therefore it is under copyright of Bubishi Institute-Shukokai Karate and cannot be duplicated without our expressed consent.  This includes (but is not limited to) images, logos, designs, photos, text, trademarks, button icons, graphics and audio/visual clips.

Purchase of Weapons

Some weapons may be illegal to own or possess in the purchaser/user’s area.  It is the responsibility of the purchaser/user to research and abide by the laws relevant to their location.  

Martial arts weapons are recommended for display purposes only, any other use of these products are done so at your own risk.

BMAW is not responsible for improper or illegal use or modification of any of the martial arts weaponry listed/sold  on/through this site or shopfront.

Some weapons may be illegal to own in user/purchaser’s area;  it is the responsibility of the user/purchaser to research and follow state and local laws.

Weapons will not be sold to anyone below the age of 18 years.


We do not trade, transfer or sell any personal information to any other entities/organisations that are not specifically associated with BMAW; except for the purposes of shipping, and general aspects of customer service; or where we are required by law.

We have safety measures in place to securely collect and store the information that you supply on our secure database. 





This avoids the possibility of extra charges due to second delivery if no one is present to collect/sign for delivery.


If your goods are of high value or Authority to Leave is not possible we advise you to contact our sales manager on bubishi@bigpond.net.au or call 07 41240322.  We can then help arrange a delivery solution that will work for you. 

Signing for your delivery

When you sign off on your delivery you accept that the number of items you receive matches the number on the consignment note and that parcel/boxes etc. are appear in good condition.  This signs off that you received your delivery in perfect condition and will forfeit any insurance claims for damages during transit.  If you do not sign off on your delivery your order will not be covered by our transit insurance.  Where we have received authority from you to deliver the goods without signature-on-delivery,  Bubishi and the courier release all responsibility and liability for any loss or damages that may occur after delivery and any claims for transit insurance will be voided.  ( please remember that the default setting for delivery is “delivery-without-signature”).  

What if I am not home when my order arrives?

The default setting for delivery at checkout is “delivery-without-signature”; this means that your order will be left in the safest possible location if you are not home to receive it.  You can specify where you would like your order to be left by using the comments box and your instructions will listed on your delivery consignment.  

We suggest that you have your order delivered to a business address (if possible) to ensure that someone is available to sign for the delivery.

Which items are delivered via courier?

Items over 1m in length or over 22kilo in weight will be delivered via a courier service.  Generally we utilise the services of StarTrack.  The following circumstances may result in your delivery being voided and returned to the nearest depot for collection.

– Steep driveways, narrow roads, insufficient clearance, inaccessible areas and/or inadequate off loading facilities.

 – Business addresses that are closed during 9am to 5pm weekdays.

 – No receiver on site to sign for delivery and/or no authority to leave.

Can I change my delivery address after my order has been placed?

We cannot guarantee that we will be able to process your request for change.  Please carefully check over your order and shipping information before you complete your order.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes. Select store pick up during checkout and we will notify you when your order is ready to collect.

Do you deliver to remote areas?

If you require delivery to a remote location please contact us before completing your order.  In most remote locations you will need to to put the local drop of point as your shipping location.  We will need to ascertain which couriers deliver to your area.

When will my order be dispatched?

Our distribution centres are closed on weekends and public holidays.  We make every attempt to have your order packed and shipped within 24 hours of receipt.  Your order will dispatched within 1-3 business days.  Your order may be shipped from locations in NSW, QLD or VIC depending on the proximity to your delivery address and stock availability.  During peak times there may be delays.

How long does delivery take?

We use Australia Post for the majority of orders.  Larger items are shipped via StarTrack courier.  Standard delivery takes 1 -6 days to major cities, depending on your location.  Selecting express shipping during checkout does not 100% guarantee that your order will be received within 24 to 48 hours.

How much does delivery cost? 

we use the Australia Post shipping calulator to give up to date realistic cost of shipp8ing your item to you.  Shipping is calulated in the shopping cart ( prior to final checkout),  taking into account the weight and dimension of your order and the requested delivery destination.

Please note – there are several factors that are NOT included in the standard shipping fees displayed during checkout procedures. Extra charges may apply for change of address, remote delivery, hand off load, re delivery, failure to collect from nearest depot within 48 hours,  crane delivery,  extra heavy loads requiring more than 1 courier to deliver. If any of these services are required you may be charged an extra fee by the delivering agent.

How can I track my order?

We will email you with details of the relevant tracking number once your order has been despatched.  Please note;  it may take some time for tracking details to appear on the relevant tracker site.

What if my goods arrive damaged?

When packing your order we try to ensure adequate protection is used to avoid damage during transit.  if your order is received damaged please ensure that

1 – You make a note on the consignment paperwork when receiving the goods.  

2 – Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the goods to advise us of the damage.  

What should I do if I haven’t received my order?

Check the tracking number of your order for details.  Contact us at bubishi@bigpond.net.au with details of your invoice number so that we can follow up the issue for you.

What do I do if my order has missing items?

Please check your tracking details to ensure that all parcels have been received;  some orders are shipped in more than 1 parcel and may not arrive at the same time.  If you have further concerns please email us at bubishi@bigpond.net.au and include details of your invoice number.

Do you deliver to P.O. Boxes, military addresses and/or parcel lockers?

 Delivery to P.O. Box, military posts and parcel lockers is dependant on the size of the goods that you order and the method of delivery required.  You will be contacted by our sales team if we are not able to effect delivery to your nominated address using the method you have nominated during checkout. Alternative options for delivery will be offered to you.


Bubishi Martial Arts Warehouse cannot/will not be held liable or responsible for;

– Delays or estimated time of arrivals

– Losses that occur during transit or delivery or theft/loss of item post delivery.

– Local disruptions and/or weather, accidents, location

– Inadequate off loading facilities and/or inaccessible areas

– Authorisation of goods to be left without signature (risking your delivery to arrive damaged in transit without knowing, exposed to possible theft or if the driver feels unsafe to leave as instructed resulting in your goods being returned to the nearest depot for collection


Can I return my item?

We offer 14 days return for change of mind or claims concerning discrepancies with your order.

To be eligible for a return, your item

  • must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • must be returned within 14 calendar days of receiving the order.
  • must be in its original packaging
  • must have receipt or proof of purchase ( copy or original enclosed with return)

Items not eligible for return:

Items on sale/clearance/end of line.

Requests received after 14 days of receiving your order.

Items that have been used or are not in original packaging

Items with no receipt of purchase.

The cost of shipping the item to you is not refundable.

 What if I received the wrong item?

Please contact us with your original invoice details and an image of the incorrect item. We will follow up the issue as quickly as possible and ensure that you receive the correct item.

How do I exchange an item?

To exchange an item you firstly ensure that it meets the requirements of our return policy.  to submit a request for exchange please email bubishi@bigpond.net.au with details of your original invoice number and desired exchange (colour, size etc).

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for the returned item as well as the shipping cost of the desired exchange item.  We suggest that you return the item with a prepaid pre addressed satchel to avoid delays.  Once you returned item is received we will inspect the item and process your exchange within 48 hours.

What if I need my exchanged item sooner?

If you require the exchange item urgently;  we suggest that you place a new order for the required item at www.bubishi.com.au.  This will save the time of shipping to us and then return shipping of the item.  The return and refund of your original order can then be completed by normal processes. 



How do I return my item?

Please submit a request for return via email to bubishi@bigpond.net.au.  Include details of your original invoice number to avoid delays in processing your return.  The item is to be returned at your own expense.

How will I know you will have received my return?

Your own tracking details of your parcel will indicate when the item has been received by us.  Once the return is received we will inspect the goods and process your return.  If your return is approved we will process a refund or exchange as per your request.  Refunds will be processed via the same method as original order payment  eg if you paid via paypal then the refund will be via paypal.  You will receive an email to notify you of the processing of your return.  If you have requested an exchange we will notify you of the order processing and shipment details.

* should your order not comply with our returns policy we will contact you to explain and arrange shipment of the goods back to you.  Please note the return of non compliant goods will be at your expense.

What if my item is faulty?

Please carefully read our warranty policy to determine if your product complies.  If you are satisfied that your product is claimable,  please email us at bubishi@bigpond.net.au to submit  a claim.

What should I do if I haven’t received my order?

When will I receive my refund?

refunds are issued via the same method as your original payment eg paypal refund if paid via paypal.  The time taken to receive the refund is dependent on the method of issue.  Your refund will generally take 1 – 5 days to appear in your account.  This processing time is out of our control.  Please note;  shipping costs are not refundable.  Your refund will be issued for the dollar amount of the items only.

You are responsible for paying your own shipping/insurance/packing/tracking costs for the return of your item; as well as the shipping costs of your desired exchange item (except in the case of incorrect supply or faulty items).  Our shipping costs are non-refundable.  Bubishi Martial Arts Warehouse will not be held responsible for any loss or damages that occur during transit during the return of your item.  We strongly recommend that you purchase additional insurance and/or tracking to ensure the item is returned in satisfactory condition.  We also suggest that you include a prepaid and pre addressed satchel with your return if you require an exchange item to be sent to you.


Bubishi Martial Arts is operated by people that understand your need for privacy and we are committed to preserving the privacy of all those who choose to use this website.  This website collects three types of information about it’s users.  The usual information that is exchanged between a website and the computer of the people who are visiting the site.  This information does not identify anyone as a particular individual but provides us with important data that enables us to make this site more user friendly for our customers.  This non identifying information may be exchanged with Google so that we can assess the effectiveness of the website.  this non identifying information is stored on our server and google’s servers.

People who choose to purchase products from Bubishi Martial Arts Warehouse are required to provide personal identifying information; including their name and address and that information is used to ship the goods you order.  That information is not shared with anyone and is stored on our server and with our office records.

If you choose to make a purchase with us via the phone you will be required to provide your credit card details for payment purposes.  This information will only be stored in our office records for a period of 1- 3 days ( long enough to process your order). 

If you choose to sign up for our occasional newsletters then all we require is your email address and that information will not be shared with anyone.

If you choose to contact Bubishi Martial arts directly by phone, email or mail;  the contact details that you provide will be retained in our office records but will not be shared with any third party unless you request us to do so.

This privacy policy acknowledges the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the laws of the State of Queensland and does not claim any exemption in any way from those laws.  To comply with the Children’s Privacy Act we will not accept registration enquiries from anyone that is under the age of 13 years. We do not trade, transfer or sell any personal information to any other entities.  We may however share certain information necessary in the conducting of our business including for shipping purposes and in the interest of providing high levels of customer service.  This information will only be shared with trusted third parties with the prior agreement that they keep the information private.  We will share your information if required to do so by law.

We have put in place safety measures to collect personal information and securely keep it in our system.  All information that is kept within our database is secured against unauthorised access or use.
