Shipping info

Orders placed with Bubishi Martial Arts are predominantly shipped to you via Australia Post. Where orders are too large to ship by Australia Post we are happy to discuss with you the courier options that are available for your delivery area.

We generally dispatch our goods within 1-2 business days from when your order is placed via our online store. Tracking details for all shipments are always provided. Regardless of whether your order is being shipped to a commercial or residential address you will be charged the same amount. There is no extra charges applied to our customers regardless of their preferred delievry location. We understand that you may work from home or run your business outside of normal business hours, this is why we will do all we can to meet your specific needs and requirements. 

Availability

If for any reason, we cannot immediately supply you with a product you have ordered, we will let you via phone or email and provide you with options to amend, exchange, or cancel & refund.

Warehouse Pick Up

You are welcome to select the “pick up” option when you place your order and this servcie and obviously free delivery . If you select the “Pick Up” option you MUST wait for a confirmation email from us regarding the time your order will be available to collect. Please DO NOT arrive for collection without first receiving confirmation; otherwise you may be disappointed that your items are not available to collect. You will be sent an email letting you know your order is ready for collection.

How is my freight charge calculated?

Your freight charge is calculated based on the overall weight and cubic dimension of the cartons used when packing your order. You can check the freight charges for a product on the product page, and your overall freight charges will be displayed on either the view cart page or the checkout page.

Delivery Time Frames

We do our best to be as accurate as possible however delivery time frames are not guaranteed and are rough estimations given to us by our allocated couriers. Delivery is only available from Monday to Friday, (excluding Public holidays) 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. We are not able to guarantee delivery within specific time frames so please do not request delivery between certain hours. Please do not ask to be called prior to delivery as it is not possble to guarantee this will occur. Freight forwarders may not follow that instruction due to OH&S regulations for mobile phone operation whilst driving. 

Tracking my order?

Tracking your order is simple, once your order has left our warehouse we will provide you with the tracking details for your delivery. Tracking numbers may take up to 12 hours to show online, so please be patient and check the freight companies’ websites after some time.

Late Deliveries

We or our carriers will always try to arrive on time, but will not be held responsible for late arrival due to unforeseen circumstances. Please always contact the nominated freight company with the connote number provided or check online for freight status updated

Is a signature required for delivery?

If the delivery address provided is unattended then by default an ATL (Authority to leave) will be placed on your order, this authorises the delivery agent to leave your parcel in a safe location at the nominated premises. If you are there to accept deliveries, the freight company may ask for a signature to verify the goods have been delivered in a safe manner. Always check the condition of your order prior to signing. Once you have signed, you are confirming that the order is complete and in perfect condition.

Can my order be shipped to a PO box?

In general your order can not be shipped to a PO Box. Ensure your shipping and Billing details are set to a commercial or residential address, if you have a PO BOX number as a billing or shipping address, the website will NOT calculate freight for your order.  Please feel free to contact us after you have placed your order to enquire if your order would be suitable for a PO Box delivery and we will do our best to assist igf possible.

Authority to leave (ATL)

When completing your order at the checkout, you will be asked to provide special instructions regarding the delivery. If you have requested that the goods be left at the premises unattended or have not left any instructions at all, the order will have defaulted to an ATL status. This will result in a no signature on delivery. By using this option Bubishi Martial Arts and the nominated freight company will accept no responsibility for lost or damaged stock. We strongly advise you to have your order shipped to either a residential or business address, where your order can be checked and signed for. It is your responsibility to track and contact the delievry agent if you wish for your order not to have the authority to leave and you intend of collecting your order from their depot. Bubishi Martial Arts will not accept any charges for 2nd deliveries. All 2nd deliveries will be the responsibility of the customer to arrange and pay for.

No-one Home
If when the carrier arrives with your order after pre-arrangement without an Authority to Leave and there is no–one present to receive the order, the courier drivers may not feel it be safe to be left at your front due to your location or street visibility if this is the case the order will be returned to the carrier's depot, or to the supplier. In this situation, you will be liable for charges for the re-delivery. Again always send your package to a location where someone is there to take and sign for the delivery. 

Front Entrance Delivery 
Deliveries are strictly door–to–door services, the courier will deliver to your front door location or to an accessible ground–floor entrance. Couriers are not obligated to enter any premises or homes and will enter at their discretion.

Non-Ground Floor Deliveries and Steps 
Due to Australian Occupational Health and Safety regulations deliveries above or below the ground floor are at the carrier's discretion and are not guaranteed. This includes (but is not limited to) steps that are immediately outside the premises, which are required to climb in order to gain access to the property. Elevators and lift services are also considered to be a part of non-ground floor delivery. 

Refund or Replacement
Refund or replacement may only take place once an item is declared 'lost in transit. In accordance with our courier's guidelines, items will only be declared as 'lost in transit if the item cannot be located 25 working days after dispatch.

Damaged in transit
If products are damaged from transit, we apologise for this and will require you to email our Customer Service team at bubishi@bigpond.net.au with your order number, full name, address and photographs of the damage. Our Customer Service team will assess and assist with repairs/parts replacement, and if the damages are not easily fixable, a replacement will be considered.

Short Deliveries

You are responsible for counting the number of cartons you receive and ensuring that this amount matches the amount on the carrier's delivery note. If this amount does not exactly match what you have received, you must note the number of cartons on the carrier's delivery note.  Sometimes orders may be delivered to you in split deliveries. Please ask your delivery driver about any missing cartons, they will have the ability to check the status on-site.

Damage to Packaging
Extensive damage to packaging must be stated on the delivery note next to your signature. You must cross out "delivered in good condition" from the carrier's delivery note (if applicable). If the item has been damaged we will require you to email us at bubishi@bigpond.net.au, with a description of the damage and photos attached so we can organise a remedy for the damage.
Short deliveries and damage to packaging must be reported to Bubishi Martial Arts Supplies within 2 working days of signing. Neither Bubishi Martial Arts Supplies nor the delivering carrier can be held responsible for short deliveries, or damages to packaging and/or items if you do not note them on your delivery note. This does not affect your statutory rights in the event of the goods being faulty.

International Shipping

Bubishi Martial Arts Supplies do not offer shipping servcies to overseas locations. Shipping is only available to customers within Australia.

Warranty Policy & User Safety

Product Guarantee: 

All products are covered by the manufacturers and supply warranties. If goods appear faulty, we will ask you to send images of the defective product and a copy of your invoice showing the purchase date. Please DO NOT dispose of the item until we have been sent an image and have responded to you; in case we have to request further images.

 Product Warranties:

All products are covered by a 6-month manufacturing warranty against commercial use of the product, with some warranties extending beyond 5+ years. The warranty covers the structural integrity of the product (excluding clearance items). The we sell are generally subjested to use in extremely harsh commercial conditions and are subject to extensive wear and tear by the end-user. At any point, if products are showing wear before the 6 month warranty period, contact us immediately. 

Damaged Products or Missing Stock on Arrival Claims:

We highly advise that you check your products within 14 days of receiving your order. Any claim for damaged or missing goods from your order must be lodged within the 14 day period from when you receive your order. In some cases you may not be using or setting up your purchase for weeks or months after getting your order. Please note, all items must be checked when received to ensure the products have been received in good condition. We will not accept any claims for aesthetic or product damage and missing goods after this 14 day period. This clause does not void your warranty, it is only in place to ensure you check your order asap for any physical damage, stock shortages or missing goods in transit.  

User Safety: 

We strongly recommend that regular monthly spot checks take place of the equipment situated in a commercial environment. These checks should be done by either centre managers, centre staff or maintenance staff. Ensuring user safety should be of paramount concern to any gym owner and operator and we advise you as a centre operator, to take this seriously and ensure your staff are trained on how best to conduct these checks. You should have a recorded log book of when equipment checks are done, by whom and the status of the products when checked. If products are showing excessive wear we strongly recommend you remove the product or put an “out of order” or “Do not use” sign on the equipment.

Martial Arts Training Weapons

Please note that people under the age of 18 are not eligible to purchase any weaponry. When you place an order for this product, you verify that you are 18 years of age or older. Martial Arts Training Weapons are for the purpose of practice training only. We strongly advise our customers to refrain from using this item for any form of contact training. We will not be held liable for any damage sustained through the misuse of this product. In effect, any damage is solely the responsibility of the customer, thus invalidating any claim under its warranty and returns policy.

 Important information regarding martial arts weapons. 

• martial arts weapons are recommended for display purposes only, any other use of these products is done so at your own risk.

• Bubishi Martial Arts Supplies and any of its product suppliers will not be held responsible for improper or illegal use or modification of any weaponry purchased through www.bubishi.com.au or its physical shopfront.

• Some weapons may be illegal in the purchaser/user’s area; the purchaser/user must research and follow state and local laws. Each State can have different regulations. 

• All purchasers of Martial Arts Training Weapons must check the laws and regulations in their state or territory of residence regarding ownership and use. It is Your responsibility to do so.

• Any information provided here is not legal advice, and you should make your own enquiries with your local authorities

 Do I need a licence or permit for a Sword?

According to NSW Police, In general, swords such as a sabre, cutlass, samurai sword, katana, etc fall outside the scope of the Weapons Prohibition Act 1998 and you do not need a licence or permit to own one and there are no specific safe storage requirements. 

However, you must check your local authority's rules before purchasing. This statement provides no guarantee now, or at any time in the future as to the legality of purchasing this item. Possession rules may change at any time.

Please note: Possession can differ from state to state within Australia. Please ensure there are no restrictions on possession within your state prior to purchase.

Bubishi Martial Arts grants you a limited non-transferable, non-revocable license to access and use this site by displaying it on your browser temporarily. This is given on the basis that you will not (unless expressly permitted by us in writing):

• Falsely represent any of the products or services we offer on this site.

• Use meta tags or other hidden text that have an association with the Bubishi Martial Arts name and trademark

We take no responsibility for any damage which may arise in connection with your use of the website.

4. Pricing

• Prices on the website are subject to change without notice.

• In the event that a product on our website is priced incorrectly, we will contact you before shipping to inform you and enquire if you want to continue with your purchase of the product at the correct price or cancel the order. If the order needs to be cancelled and you have already been charged, a refund will be issued immediately for the payment amount once the matter has been addressed.

• All prices listed are exclusive of Delivery Charges.

• All prices listed on the website are inclusive of 10% G.S.T

• The price of a product cannot be varied unless by agreement between You and Us in writing. 

5. Orders

• By placing an order with Bubishi Martial Arts on our website or by other means, you agree to enter into a Purchase Contract to purchase the Product from Bubishi Martial Arts.

• Bubishi Martial Arts will not be liable for any internet interruptions or technical issues which may cause disruptions or delays in your order.

• Orders will be deemed to be received by Bubishi Martial Arts when you receive an order confirmation email.

• It is Your responsibility to ensure the correct information is supplied when completing your order. Bubishi Martial Arts is not liable for incorrect delivery information. If you have supplied incorrect delivery information, re-delivery fees will apply.

• Bubishi Martial Arts reserves the right to decline to enter into a Purchase Contract with You and may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch of the order.

• If you need to cancel your order, you will need to contact us prior to the order being dispatched. A full refund will be provided with email confirmation.

• If the order has already been dispatched, you will need to follow the Returns Policy.

• For any orders and/or Tax Invoices, it is your responsibility to check all product codes, quantity and prices are correct, or otherwise notify Us.

6. Payment

• Payments will be processed immediately upon confirmation of your order

• If your payment triggers our Fraud Prevention System, your order will not be processed and may be cancelled without warning or notification. 

 7. Delivery

• Bubishi Martial Arts does not accept any liability for loss or damage suffered as a result of delays outside of our control, including but not limited to shipping delays, weather, traffic, accidents, busy periods and other unforeseeable circumstances.

• Bubishi Martial Arts will not deliver Products to PO Box addresses, Military addresses or Parcel Lockers.

• Your shipping charges do not include change of address, remote delivery, hand off load, re-delivery, crane delivery and/or failure to pick up your order from your nearest depot within 48 hours.

• If is your responsibility to check your goods at delivery. By signing off on your delivery, you accept that the number of items you receive matches the number on the consignment note and boxes/items are in acceptable condition.You will need to sign off on your delivery in order to be covered by Transit Insurance.

We make every effort to ensure that the goods are shipped in sufficient packaging to eliminate chances of damage in transit. Once delivered, you must inspect the goods and ensure the delivery matches your order. You must let us know about any damaged, missing or incorrect goods within 48 hours. Claims outside this period will be deemed as "damaged in storage" or "other loss".

Bubishi Martial Arts and it’s couriers will be released of all responsibility and liability if you request that your delivery is left as “unattended’ without obtaining a signature confirming delivery . We will require written authorisation if your order is to be delivered as “unattended” or left with reception, or with other written instruction and liability transfers to you on delivery.

• As soon as your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, shipping charges are non-refundable as the service has been incurred.

8.  Returns

• Change of mind returns must comply with our Returns Policy. To facilitate a return, please Contact Us.

• It is Your responsibility to ensure that the product is received at our Head Office address safely. Bubishi Martial Arts is not liable for any loss or damage that may occur before it is received at our Head Office.

Promotions

• To apply a promotional code, you must enter it at checkout prior to completing the order. 

• Promotional codes cannot be applied to previously placed orders, existing orders and does not rollover or be applied to back-orders.

• Promotional codes that offer a percent off cannot be used in combination with any other clearance products, on sale products, promo codes or percentage-off sales.

• Promotional codes are not transferable or redeemable for cash or credit.

• Certain products may be excluded from promo codes.

• When participating in physical training or using any equipment, you risk the possibility of serious injury, disability or in some cases death. By engaging in physical training you are agreeing that you do so at your own risk, of your own will, assuming all risk of injury to you yourself.

• You agree that SMAI and its associates are not liable for and take no responsibility in the event of any injury or harm that occurs to any person/persons using any products purchased form Bubishi Martial Arts. You should consult your physician before beginning any exercise program and know your limitations.

• Protective products are recommended for non-contact or light-contact use only, unless otherwise stated on the product.

• Sparring products are only intended to reduce the risk and severity from accidental injury to protected areas during supervised, non-contact or light-contact sparring.

• Boxing gloves are recommended to aid in impact protection and only intended for light-contact on soft training targets such as padded shields, hanging bags, speed bags, etc. Light-contact is defined as a force that will not cause pain, injury, penetration, or visible movement of the opponent/target.

• Martial arts weapons are recommended for display purposes only, any other use of these products are done so at your own risk.

Bubishi Martial Arts offers a number of payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Paypal.

When you are ready to purchase your items, click the "Cart" button and then click the "Checkout" button. Please log in if you have an account with us if you do not already have an account you can create one. On your payment screen, you will see the total amount for your items. Please add your payment method and billing address

Secure online shopping

We do not retain your credit card information after your order is complete as it is submitted directly to Stripe who is our prefered online Visa, Mastercard & American Express payment gateway or Paypal. The Bubishi Martial Arts Supplies payment system has a 2048-Bit V3 SSL security.  For direct deposits our prefered bank is ANZ.  You can rest assured that with each purchase using your credit card, PayPal account or bank account, your information is and will be secured. PayPal

PayPal is the fastest and safest way to pay online without sharing your financial details. On the confirmation order screen, you will see the details of your purchase. If all details are correct, please click Place Order. After placing an order a confirmation mail will be sent to your provided e-mail address.

Security Policy

We do not store credit card information, we securely submit credit card information to our bank for processing.  All reasonable steps to keep secure any information which we hold about you are implemented. Personal information may be stored both electronically on our computer system, and in hard-copy form. Firewalls, 2048 Bit v3 SSL encryption, passwords, anti-virus software and email filters act to protect all our electronic information.

Refunds & Returns Policy

Refunds:

Any product purchased from Bubishi Martial Arts Supplies that has a major fault or defect, a full refund including the shipping charges will be issued to you through the same way that the payment was received by us. All claims must be made within the guideline period. 

Refunds are acceptable from 14 days of purchase. The customer is responsible for the return of the item in undamaged, unsoiled and original condition. We recommend that you send the return via registered post, to avoid any loss in transit issues. The customer must pay for the costs for the return and if applicable the re-delivery of the item.

The customer will be refunded by the same method of which the customer had originally paid within 14 days. You must also provide proof of purchase.

What can be returned?

As long as the item is not assembled or used we're happy to receive it back for a refund or exchange. Goods can be returned within 14 days of purchase and must be in the original packaging. However, this excludes custom items and clearance items. The goods must be packaged appropriately for transport.

When do items need to be returned by?
Items must be returned within the 14-day period from when the invoice has been issued, obviously, some exceptions may be made if transit times are longer then normal based on your location.

How do customers return items?
When returning any item, you must include a copy of the invoice supplied to you at the time of purchase and include a note detailing why the product was returned. This information can help us identify any trends with quality control, any potential upgrades or adjustments that may need to be made to the products.

Shipping for returns?
All return shipping costs are payable by the customer unless otherwise specified by our office. We recommend using Australia post and obtaining a tracking number when sending anything back. If you require an exchange for another product please also include a return paid satchel pre-completed by you to streamline the process of exchanges. 

Credit for returns?
Once your item has been received and a refund is requested, we will refund you by the same method of payment you have used for your initial purchasse of the item/s. This will be done within a 48-72hr time frame (please note all banks have varying time frames for processing of refunds). Always provide a proof of purchase when returning any item.

Instore return option?
You can bring a product back to us directly. Please ensure that the product was bought directly from us and that you have proof of purchase. Please ensure you call our office to confirm what is being returned, the day you are going to return it and an approx time.

Packing materials?
Ensure your item is returned back with all its original packing, this may include outer packing bags, Product ID cards, product coded boxes and anything else you have received when purchasing your product. Failure to do so may result in an additional charge and or a rejection of the received return.
